ChineseOutLoud is run by Liu Meiqi, an individual Chinese teacher. You can reach me any time at mei@chineseoutloud.com, and I answer every email myself.
Downloadable learning materials for people studying Chinese — PDFs and audio files, delivered as a digital download. Each product page says exactly what's included and what it costs. Prices are in US dollars. Any tax that applies is shown at checkout.
Checkout is handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record for the order. Your payment details go to them, not to me, and their name may appear on your bank or card statement.
After a successful payment you'll get an email with your download links, and you can open the same links again from the customer portal. Download links expire a few minutes after they're generated, so if one stops working, open the email or the portal again and a fresh link is created.
If something goes wrong with a download, email me and I'll sort it out.
What you buy is for your own learning, and you're welcome to use it for as long as you like, on as many of your own devices as you like.
Please don't share, resell, republish or upload the files anywhere public, and please don't use them to teach paying students of your own. If you'd like to use something with your own class or group, just ask me — that's usually fine, I'd only like to know about it.
I keep the copyright to everything in the materials.
The free handbook and the challenge videos are free to use and to share a link to. The same rules above apply to the files themselves.
These are practice materials, not a course with feedback. How much they help depends on how much you use them, so I can't promise a particular result or level.
I may improve or update the materials, and I may change prices for future purchases. What you've already bought stays yours, and the version you downloaded is yours to keep.
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them.
See the refund policy.
